Fun spin up on Threerock

After my quiet intense spin yesterday I wanted to have a bit more relaxed pace for today. My friend Csaba and myself picked the all time favorite place to go: Threerock. The weather wasn't too cold but the wind was strong enough, but at least it was nice and sunny! Kind of ideal day for an easy spin and a bit of a video recording we thought.

So after the early start we got up to the Ticknock carpark quiet fast and from there we started our regular spin: some of the new trails, fire road decent and then climb back up, and all the usual things that you can get done up there.

Since the pace was not to intense and we've had bit more time to mess aroud with recording some video footage, we came up with some new ideas. One of them was to have the camera on Csaba's bike pointing backwards. My other plan was to capture some fast fire road downhill riding also. So, beside a nice bike ride we actually did record some great material.

Details of the spin:

30km distance
2 hours riding time
813m total ascent
61.5 km/h maximum speed (on the fire road)
1130 kcal burned
178bpm max. heart rate
132bpm avg. heart rate

This spin was easy and short enough but we really enjoyed it for sure. Can't wait for the weekend to have a proper long spin. I want to say a big thank you for Csaba for all the help with the recording!
