Just a regular Monday night...

Have a seat, launch the RedBull TV application on XBOX Live and watch some of the finest XC races from the 2013 & 2014 World Cup Season! It's simply prefect from time to time during the "boring" winter months, isn't it?! 

Back on the bike!

Finally I'm back on the bike again! I had a 2 weeks long off-the-bike time thanks to the freakish neck injury but thankfully I managed to get rid of it.

So, everything is back to normal. To celebrate that I went out on a very wet and miserable training spin. Did 44 km just ander 1 hour and 48 minutes. Wasn't a big spin at all, but the point was to get out and get some fresh air into my head after the busy week.

Put on the finest Korn tunes and got the legs turning a bit. It was a nice spin, it feels great to be out on the bike again. Happy days!     

Very productive morning :)

This is the result when you put together a two and a half year old, a cyclist dad and a sticker book. Let's just say: Rhys and I both had a great time this morning! ;)      

Out of action...

Here we go again...picking up injury at the worst possible time. This time I'm havin' trouble with my neck. And it seems like it is more hectic to get rid of then usually...

Struggling with this for more than a week at this point. Pills, injections & creams are my army but can't seem to help. The movement is very limited and the whole right side of my neck is extremely stiff. 

Of course there's no cycling for me these days but to be honest I would be happy to get through the days a bit smoother, nevermind cycling. Hoping to visit a chiropractor specialist in the upcoming days and see if we can find a solution or some sort of treatment. I hope it's gonna work 'cause the whole story is getting pretty frustrating at this point...

The Bike Shed Project // Part 2

The Bike Shed is shaping pretty well, managed to get some work done on it since the last post. Things got out of the boxes but more inportantly I have the heating sorted! 

The place looks a bit more alive indeed

Got this real treasure from my Dad just a few days ago. It is a very-very old iron stove that was my Grandfather's long time ago. It needed some work but it is ready now and it is absolutely amazing. Beast of a heat source! :)

Vintage stove & hot tea. What else I could ask for on a cold winter day?!

So, there's still a little work to be done but I'm already very happy with the way this bike shed of mine is shaping up. Cool little place indeed that'll see countless hours of bike maintenance & servicing! Can't wait! :)

Massive thanks to my Dad for surprising me with this stove and for getting it back to life for me! It was a lovely surprise and a huge help!!
