5 hours film recording up on Threerock

The plan was there for ages: "we should record a nice short movie that shows XC mountainbiking!..." But normally I don't have enought time to spend up in the mountains to record materail. Not until today! :)

My friend Csaba (who is into amateur photography) and myself decided to spend properly long time with filming up on Threerock. So we got all the cameras set up, batteries charged and off we went this morning.

We did stay up on the mountain for the half of the day and spent 5 hours with finding the best places and record some sweet footage for our short cycling movie. We really wanted to give back the real mountain biking experience on the well known mountain so we went all over the place back and forward. :)

The weather was excellent so we really did enjoy every minute of the filming. We captured material on cool trails and places over and over again until we run out of memory card capacity.

Our equipment was the following: Fuji S9500 photo camera (with stand), Sony Cyber-shot photo camera and a GoPro camera.
We have recorded with fixed camera point, moving camera and tested some new ideas as well such as recording from above.

This part of the day was pretty exhausting but it was only the first half of the job, the editing was still ahead of me. After couple of more hours at home in front of the computer the final movie got shaped better and better in every minute.

Taking a short break off filming :)
We did have a great day out there and when I've seen the finished film for the time I thought we have spent the time well indeed! :)

Please watch it & enjoy, I hope everyone will like it!

Also would like to say a big thank you for Csaba, his help was essential today. Great stuff man, thanks for all the cool ideas and recording me riding my bike! :)
